Artist Sarah Keber, one of Massey's most illustrious current BFA students, appears to have arranged some pretty action-packed festivities down at Bar Bodega in Wellington this Wednesday for its inaugural Art Meets Pint Night. The Auckland based artist Paul Cullen will be exhibiting a new project entitled Mezzanine in the Engine Room, Massey University School of Art's gallery space as the inaugural research exhibition of this season. Paul, currently Associate Professor of Visual Arts at AUT University, is one of New Zealand's most important sculpture and installation artists, and his work has been exhibited internationally in a wide variety of gallery and museum contexts. The opening will be held tomorrow Friday Feb 28 at 5:30 pm. All are welcome! The Engine Room is located at the East end of Block 1 on Massey University's Wellington Campus, accessible from Wallace Street Entrance C. Works by Massey University's MDes students, and the final graduates from the one-year MFA programme will soon be on view in the last February exhibition. The College of Creative Arts will be exhibiting more graduate work from the MDes and the new two-year MFA programme in November. Exhibition Details: Open to the public daily, February 7-15, 12noon-5pm, Massey University Wellington, Entrance C off Wallace Street. The exhibition is located within adjacent buildings on the campus : Te Ara Hihiko, The Engine Room gallery and Block 1. Congratulations to all the artists and designers involved!
